In this era of globalization, the internet plays an important role in daily life. Where the internet becomes a tool in carrying out daily activities such as online school, working remotely, traveling to all areas in any part of the world and others.

Internet is an abbreviation of Interconnected-Networking which is a series of computers connected in several networks. Or the internet can also be said to be a network that functions to connect one electronic media to other media. This communication network will transfer data precisely and quickly over a certain frequency.

The internet can have a positive impact on our lives as a means of connectivity and communication. We can send emails, make voice or video calls, to anyone in the world with fast internet. Then the internet can also provide endless access to information and knowledge. The internet also provides wider access to the world of entertainment such as watching videos, watching movies, listening to music, and even playing online games.

Apart from the positive impact, if the internet is used unwisely it will have negative impacts such as opening social networks too often, browsing too much on the internet can cause addiction. there are many criminals who aim to fake someone's account and use it for fraud. Then a lot of fake news spread. And finally, it can be used as a means of bullying, namely providing continuous negative comments on posts on the bullying victim's social media.

For this reason, the advancement of the internet today requires our own policy to be careful in using social media. We also need to read and find out about using the internet properly and correctly.
